In and around the Indian table tennis circle Rajath Kamal is known as a player and brother of Olympian Sharath Kamal. Sports Authority of India (SAI) gave green signal after the committee meeting and Rajath would sign the contract this week.
"Rajath would be good to work with the paddlers as he has himself played the game for years. Zubin takes the Title
39th inter institution table tennis championships comes to a end. Petroleum Sports promotion Board bags both the titles in the team event. Zubin Kumar of PSPB bags the Men's singles title. Earlier in the semi finals star of the tournament R.Abishek of Dena Bank who's single handed effort pushed their team to maiden finals lost to Zubin kumar. In other semi finals Subhajit Saha lost to the PSPB team mate Soumyadeep Roy. The finals was the match of the day, initially zubin started firing his shots all over the table. But the experienced Roy pulled the match to the deciders where Zubin pushed his nose front and took the deciders to take the 39th inter institution table tennis championship title.

R.Abishek Rocks and Petroleum Scares

It’s a maiden final appearance for Dena Bank in 39^th all-India inter-institution table tennis at the Paljor Namgyal Indoor Stadium. R.Abishek of Chennai was in his best pushed Dena Bank to the finals defeating Air India. In the other semi Petroleum survives a defeat in the hands of North Bengal juniors representing Airports Authority team.

In the first two ties Raj Mondal and Soumyajit Ghosh came over Subhajit Saha and Anthony Amal Raj. Soumyadeep Roy pulled the boat back by winning the third match. The final two ties were won by Petroleum. Amal Raj received a conduct warning for racket absue after winning the breath taking final match which went to deciders.

Earlier in other semi finals Dena Bank defeated Air India. R.Abishek was at his best to beat Pathik Mehta and then outplayed Sanil Shetty. The crucial third match was taken by E.Prabakaran. In quarterfinal the finalist Railways lost to Air India. In women’s semi finals Petroleum beats Dena Bank and Air India lost to Railways. In the end its normal routine results in the Women’s matches and in the Men’s junior boys are showing their waist against the seniors.
